The Tunnel to Towers 5K Run, Walk & Climb Series honors the extraordinary sacrifice of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter who gave his life on September 11, 2001. After hearing of the attacks, Stephen strapped on his gear and ran through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers, where he made the ultimate sacrifice.

Today, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation continues his legacy of courage and selflessness by supporting our nation's fallen and catastrophically injured first responders, military heroes, and their families, living by the guiding principle:

"While we have time, let us do good."

Whether you run, walk, or cheer from the sidelines, your participation helps honor those who have sacrificed so much for our country and our communities. We hope to see you there!
